If you do nothing during your visit but browse, read pages, or download information, we gather limited information that does not identify you personally. We automatically collect and store:

1. The IP address and domain name used

2. The type of browser and operating system you used

3. The date and time you visited this site

4. The web pages or services you accessed at this site

5. The website you visited prior to coming to this site

This information is used only to improve the content of our web services and to help us understand how people use our site.

What We Collect if You Volunteer Information

If you participate in a survey, send an email, or perform a transaction on our site, the following additional information may be collected:

1. Email address and contents of email, for those who communicate with us via email

2. Information volunteered in response to a survey or promotion

3. Information volunteered during registration on our website

We will use your email to respond appropriately and may use it to pre-populate order forms to save you time when reordering.

External Use of Volunteered Information

Global Sourcing Connection employs other companies to perform specific functions on our behalf — such as fulfilling orders, delivery, email, credit card processing, and research. These providers have access only to information required for their function and are forbidden from using it for any other purpose.

We may disclose your name and mailing address to carefully screened third parties for marketing purposes. However, we never share your email address, phone number, credit card, or financial information for these purposes. You may opt out at any time.

Personal Information and Choice

You may always choose whether to provide personal information to us online. We will collect no personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it. Your choice not to provide information will not impair your ability to browse our website.

In the event we are required to respond to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, your personal information may be disclosed pursuant to such legal process, which may be without notice to you.

Transaction Information

If you purchase products or services on our site, we will ask you to provide payment information, including a credit card number and expiration date, along with contact, billing, and shipping information. For your protection, all such information is collected and stored through encrypted means. SSL technology is used to establish secure session links between your browser and our website.

Review and Correction of Personal Information

You can review any personally identifiable information we collect about you by contacting us using the information at the end of this policy. You may recommend changes to information you believe to be inaccurate. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. If your information changes, you may correct or update it through your profile or by using an opt-out message.

Cookies

We use cookies to customize your browsing experience. Cookies are small data files transferred to your computer by your browser. Cookies created on your computer by using this website do not contain personally identifying information and do not compromise your privacy or security — unless you have registered and not logged out. You may disable cookies at any time through your browser settings, though some features of our website may not function as expected.

Security

We have taken many steps to safeguard the integrity of our website and to prevent unauthorized access to information. SSL technology is used to secure all communications between your browser and our site. Only employees who need access to your information to carry out business functions are permitted access. Our security policies are reviewed periodically.

However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. We recommend using a strong password, not leaving your computer unattended during a session, and properly exiting browsers as you move between websites.

A Special Note for Parents

Our site is a general audience site. We do not collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If we receive information from persons we believe to be minors, that information will be purged from our database in accordance with applicable laws.
