Terms and Conditions

All transactions involving purchases from us are governed by the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Scope

All transactions involving purchases from us shall be governed by (i) these Standard Terms and Conditions, (ii) any written contract executed by you and us, (iii) terms included in any written quote issued and accepted by you, (iv) if you purchase from our website, any additional Terms referenced by an "I agree" button selected by you, and (v) any Terms on the back of our invoice that relates to your purchase.

Precedence

In the event of an inconsistency among the contract provisions, the following rules apply:

1. If the inconsistency is between an item executed by us and one that is not, the item executed by us shall take precedence.

2. If the inconsistency is between two items executed by us, the more recently executed one will take precedence.

3. Among these Standard Terms, the Terms on the back of our invoice, and terms referenced by an "I accept" button — the "I accept" terms take first precedence, invoice terms take second, and these Standard Terms take third.

Satisfaction & Returns

We will make every effort to get you the correct item and deliver it on time. We will only accept returns if you received a damaged item. Please notify us within 20 days, and we will repair it, replace it, or give you credit at our discretion.

If fragile goods arrive broken, please save all packaging material for the shipper to inspect. Contact us within 20 days of receipt to correct any issues.

Order Cancellation

Once your order is completed on our website, it is processed immediately. If you need to make changes, please email stine@gloso.com or call 847.220.4290 immediately and we will assist you.

Limitations of Liability

To the full extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the sale of our products. In no event will our liability relating to a product exceed the amount you paid for that product.

Currency

All amounts are stated, and payments are to be made, in United States currency.

Other Communications

We will not be bound by any additional or different terms or provisions, whether printed or otherwise, in a purchase order, email, or other communication from you unless we have signed it.

Shipping Costs and Sales & Use Taxes

Charges for freight and sales and use tax are not included in our prices. Freight will be calculated at checkout based on the shipping method you select. We are located in Illinois, and all applicable sales and use tax will be calculated at checkout.

Choice of Law & Venue

Our relationship with you will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and by applicable U.S. federal laws. All disputes must be brought exclusively in the federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, or the state courts located in Lake County, Illinois.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any failure to deliver, or delay in delivery, due to any cause beyond our control — including acts of God, fires, labor disputes, governmental actions, or inability to obtain materials, components, energy, or transportation.
